Guest guest Posted April 18, 2010 Report Share Posted April 18, 2010 Spicy and Crispy Broccoli 1 clove garlic, put through a press salt and pepper to taste 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes 1 tablespoon olive oil 4 cups broccoli florets In a large skillet, heat the oil over high heat until it begins to smoke. Add the broccoli, stir and cook, covered, stirring occasionally, for about 3 minutes. Should be crisp and browned around edges. Turn the heat to low and cook for 2 additional minutes or until just tender. Add the red pepper flakes, garlic and salt and pepper to taste. Cook an additional 1 to 2 minutes. Serve immediately.
