This seasoning mix has a kick. well worth keeping around. Great for springing

on unsuspecting chilie heads.

Ex Miller Ut Phil's Thermonuclear seasoning

4 tablespoons cayenne pepper or paprika

1 tablespoon chili powder

1 tablespoon Mrs Dash Extra Spicy [or other similar seasoning such as Lawry's

seasoning salt]]

1 teaspoon brown sugar

3/4 teaspoon fresh ground melenge pepper

1/2 teaspoon Coleman's mustard powder

1/2 teaspoon white pepper

1/2 teaspoon lemon pepper

Make sure you ingredients are no salt. Use your favorite seasoning salt or herb

mix. The original called for Lawry's

In a bowl, mix the first three. [do not use the paprika unless you want to tone

it down I did that for the other half who still won't eat it because it is too

hot.] In another bowl, mix the rest. Mix together. Use immediately or store in a

cool dark place.

Keeps for several months.

The flavor is similar to a bbq potato chip I tried in my teens or 20s but I

don't remember the name and not sure if they even make it any more because I

haven't been able to find it. Might have been a local thing when I was in the

Navy so that could be anything from Texas to CA to FLA to VA.

Miller's original version:
