Well, I took a vegetarian class, and I've searched the internet...lots of

info, but I can't seem to organize a plan to have 3 meals and snack each

day...I don't know how to make sure I am getting enough of this vitamin and

that vitamin and protein. What I need is a one month menu that includes each

meal and snacks, that's has the correct nutrients, and is a 1500 to 1800

calorie diet, because I am overweight. Any suggestions?

can't comment on the dieting part, but this doesn't need to be difficult.

 

The easiest way is to simply organize your life the way you did/do with meat

in a sane fashion. At each meal, have some veggies and/or fruits, some

protein, and some carbs. (Just like my mom fed us when we were kids!)

 

If you used to have a hamburger, sub with a veggie burger or tempeh

sandwich, etc. If you remember to put a portion of protein with each meal,

you'll do fine; but you can always take a multivit while you're sorting out

the issues and your likes/dislikes.
