Guest guest Posted March 2, 2010 Report Share Posted March 2, 2010 Linguine with Mushrooms 1 lb. shiitake mushrooms, cleaned, sliced 6 tbsps. olive oil 1 garlic clove, minced 1/2 tsp. hot red pepper flakes, I added 1 tsp. salt and pepper, to taste 2 tbsps. parsley, chopped 3/4 lb. linguine Cook mushrooms in olive oil over low heat for 10 minutes. Add garlic, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper. Cook, stirring for 5 minutes over low heat. Cover and cook for 15 minutes longer. Add parsley and mix. Meanwhile, bring water to boil in large kettle.
