Starting out going Vegetarian is hard. I haven't had much meat for the last few

days and in fact would maybe not eat any if I could think of what to eat.

I enjoy eating, so I have to have something fulfilling. I a big on cooking from

scratch. I also love to nibble. Is there an easy way to come up with a one or

two week menu plan that does NOT call for recipes with a thousand ingredients

lol. This is part of what hinders me, just not knowing what to eat. I really

can't afford to go out and do a pantry makeover of ingredients.

I think I need a vegetarian personal nutritionist or something!

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I am big fan of pasta dishes. The simplest one I can think of is pasta with

broccoli garlic and olive oil.

Cook books are full of vegetarian dishes. Personably I cannot stand flavor

of veggie stocks. I always keep Knorr vegetable cubes. They are all dried

veggies and is a little salty. I use it as base to soups.

I also like vegeta. It is carried in blue can or bag. I am sure you can

look it up online ut most gorcery stores should have it. Vegeta is good start

to any meal.

My other favorite thing is mushroom sauce. Saute some Mushrooms (you can

use any ones you like but I usually use the white ones so widely available)

and onions separately for few minutes and then mix together and cook

together until desired softness. Add salt and pepper to your taste.

I sometimes do cream with vegan milk and spoon of flower. Makes it thicker.

I use it to top pasta or as a side dish.

I never experience with tempah, cannot stand hummus so I am very limited.

I love those veggie hotdogs and other veggie products for low price that

you can always keep in stock.
