Guest guest
My Mom makes these all the time. Here is her recipe. Chico Chipotle Brownies 6 tablespoons butter 12 ounces bittersweet chocolate 2 large eggs 1 cup sugar 2 teaspoons vanilla 2 teaspoons cinnamon 1 teaspoon chipotle chile powder 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper 8 tablespoons flour 1 cup chopped walnuts Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Butter and flour a 9X9-inch square baking pan. In a medium saucepan, melt butter over low heat; add chocolate chips, stir until melted ( or microwave for 1 minute and 30 seconds ). In a large bowl, beat eggs and sugar, add vanilla, cinnamon, chile powder and cayenne pepper. Stir in chocolate mixture well, add flour and then add nuts. Scrape batter into pan. Bake 35 minutes, or until toothpick inserted has moist crumbs clinging. Do not overbake these gooey wonders! Makes 12 servings.
