Indian Green Chile Chutney

2 cups cilantro leaves, and tender stems

20 medium green serrano chiles

2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

2 garlic cloves, peeled

 

 

 

Combine cilantro, chiles, lemon juice and garlic in a blender. Add a little

water to aid in blending, and blend until smooth. Transfer to a container, stir

in salt to taste, cover and refrigerate until needed. This will keep for 3 to 4

days, covered in the refrigerator.

 

Serve over omelettes.

 

Makes about 1 cup

Time: 10 minutes
