Guest guest
I was really disappointed with the episode. There wasn't one dish where I felt compelled to download the recipe. Robin's dish may have looked beautiful, but no one, including Natalie, liked it very much. Not only did Robin not win, but she was in the bottom three and could have been sent home for that dish. I wish the challenge had been to create a vegetarian dish that included at least one grain or one legume. Most of the chefs focused on vegetables only. On the other hand, I loved the Top Chef Masters vegan episode which aired a few months back. The chefs in that competition were established, very accomplished chefs, and the dishes they put out looked like they rocked. I downloaded many of those recipes, but I'll probably never make any of the them because they all seem very complicated. Their cooking is way too sophisticated for me. The guest was Natalie Portman, they had to cook for Natalie and her friends. Chef Robin Leventhan made a gorgeous dish. She wasn't voted in first place but what do they know. The judges did the usual smirk about the veg cuisine, one guy made a comment, this would go good with a steak. Robin rocks, she tries very hard and I hope she wins or is at least in the top #3 Donna
