Guest guest
Hi Davida. Those Gardenburger mozzarella bites sound yummy; I'll have to keep a look out for them. I am also in Oregon, but am way south of you in Grants Pass. Guest guest
Hi Kevin, am new here also though stopped eating animal products in '85 [also raised 3 sons who are still veggie and in their 20s]. I hope that you will take time to study nutrition and find balance through your new orientation. When beginning, I made it a plan to add two new entrees, for everyone I gave up. Cheers, Star > writes: > > New guy here! My name is Kevin Smith, and I've just started the > > vegetarian lifestyle. I'm 20, go to college, and stay at my folks house during breaks. My family is supportive of me, though they prefer their meat (my dad raises cattle). I'm so far a lacto- oval, and just wanted to say hi! Guest guest
Travis Barker a vegetarian, who would have thunk? Good for him and you too, welcome back to the veg path. There are so many alternative products out there and our recipe files are jammed. You can make up all our favorite foods. Get some frozen Crumbles or Quorn chik'en for your Mexican food. They are great in tacos, enchiladas, tostadas, and many more recipes. I don't eat eggs because I don't care for them and I hav e cpw's milk allergy and have never had a glass of milk in my life, ev en as a baby. I used to eat cottage cheese and mac and cheese and suffer. There are good soy ice creams and Vegan Gourmet cheese even melts. It isn't hard being a vegetarian in this day and age. Guest guest
Hi, I'm Rhonda. I'm 47. I have an 18 year old son.I live in Kansas City, and I'm a nurse. I've been a nurse for 16 years, but I audit charts, mostly from home. I love my job, I've been to New York, and other places. When I don't audit from home, I go to clinics. It is a very unique job, and 'i love it. I have my doctorate in metaphysics, and in October, I am going to be certified with Sonia Choquette. I lost my dad in January, and I started metaphysics studies after that. I have lot's of allergies, which is probabl why I'm a picky eater. I was invited into this group, from it's sister group on . I'm transitioning into a vegetarian diet, I've only slipped up a couple of time between September 5th, and now. It's not that hard to go without meat, but there's a few vegetables I'll not eat, and, yuck, I won't eat mustard or pickles. Therefore, fast food sandwhiches are ordered plain wherever I go. If I'm vegetarian, I'll adapt. Whatever, doesn't matter to me. Buffalo Wild Wings serves veggie burgers, other places do too. It will be a while until I eat any meat, I saw the eyes of animals we eat in my sleep the other day. This must be my path. My main question has been ingrediant substitution. Like, how do I substitute mustard, it smells awful to me, and such. I've figured out how to beat health food store prices, by buying ingrediants at the grocery store.
