Guest guest Posted July 24, 2009 Report Share Posted July 24, 2009 Serrano And Ginger Custard 4 large eggs 1 cup sugar, granulated 2 tablespoons liqueur, orange flavor 1 tablespoon ginger, fresh peeled and minced 3 peppers, serrano red or green, seeded and diced 1 quart cream, heavy Whisk eggs and sugar in non-reactive metal bowl until smooth. Add orange liqueur, ginger, peppers and cream; set bowl over simmering water; whisk until mixture thickens (about 30 minutes).
