Spicy Salsa Verde & Juniper Berry Marinade

 

12 oz jar prepared salsa verde

1/3 cup chopped fresh parsley

1/3 cup dry white wine or vegi broth

1 teaspoon juniper berries, crushed (I find them at Whole Foods)

1/4 teaspoon coarsely ground pepper

1 teaspoon grated lemon peel

 

In medium bowl stir together all marinade ingredients, in 1-quart saucepan bring

reserved marinade to a full

boil. Serve with meals as a salsa or use as a marinade for your BBQ  Yields 2

cups.
