Guest guest Posted March 17, 2009 Report Share Posted March 17, 2009 Potato Fritters 1 1/4 lbs. potatoes grated 1 onion chopped fine 1 egg lightly beaten 1/4 cup flour 1 tbsp. corn flour 1/2 tsp. chili powder 1/4 tsp. turmeric powder 1/2 tsp. cumin powder 1/2 tsp. coriander powder salt to taste Allow the grated potatoes to drain for 10 minutes. Squeeze water, add all the above ingredients. Heat oil in a deep pan. Drop teaspoonfuls of the potato batter into the hot oil. Deep fry for 2 to 3 minutes or till golden brown. Serve hot with tomato sauce or coriander-mint dip. Makes 20 to 25 fritters.
