Guest guest
Hi from Canada. I'm a retired 72 yr old guy that loves spicy foods and is moving away from both dairy and animal products. I need to practice some of those yummy recipes.
Guest guest
Guess we have a few new members lately! Hi Vicki and Malcolm, and anyone I may have missed. I don't read every email that comes in so not welcoming each person is just an oversight due to an abundance of mail I deal with every day, between work and play. Where in Canada are you, Malcolm, and what are you retired from? And what provoked you, at your age, to change your diet in this way? Kate, still workin' (but not too hard) in Saskatchewan,___ http://stubblejumperscafe.pnn.com/6853-the-front-page

Guest guest
Hi, I moved from Ontario to Idaho then California in the early 60's. Attended university, met future wife, continued university, moved to Canada in 1969 so we both could teach high school. We lived on a 60 mile long lake for 4 years then moved to Kamloops to raise our two daughters and continued teaching until we retired. After reading Dr. Fuhrman's books on eating and fasting I resolved to continue learning. One of my daughters is very much more knowledgible than I am about nutrition so I also learn from her. I have also learned the value of fasting from some local East Indians and First Nations people. This has resulted in my stopping animal and dairy products to observe any changes in my health and weight. I am feeling more energetic. Also, I have run into a number of other young people through www.couchsurfing.com that eat much better than my old ways. Like Dr. Campbell, an early life of meat and potatoes with lots of fresh milk is difficult to change. Malcolm - Sue Tuesday, March 03, 2009 1:47 PM Re: Intro.
