Guest guest Posted February 6, 2009 Report Share Posted February 6, 2009 Paneer Stuffed Baked Tomato (India) 12 medium tomatoes 1 1/2 cup crumbled paneer store bought or homemade is best 2 cups chopped vegetables, french beans, carrots, cauliflower, green peas 2 chopped hot green chillies 1 teaspoon asofoetida or use some minced garlic 2 teaspoons ghee or melted butter salt to taste Cut off the tops of the tomatoes and scoop out the centres. Set aside the scooped portion. Heat the ghee and fry the green chillies and asofoetida for a minute, until lightly crisped. Add the boiled vegetables, paneer, salt and scooped tomato portion and cook for 2 minutes.
