Guest guest Posted November 25, 2008 Report Share Posted November 25, 2008 Fried Cabbage: 1 onion, finely chopped or green onion, brown onion or baby leeks 1 potato, diced 6 tbsps. olive or coconut oil 1/2 tsp. curry powder 1/2 tsp. sea salt 1 medium-size cabbage, thinly sliced or shredded 4 to 5 small carrots, sliced into rounds Saute onion in oil until lightly brown (less cooking time for green onion or baby leeks) Add diced potatoes, carrots, salt and curry powder; stir over medium heat 4-5 minutes. Mix in cabbage (May include any cooking greens). Pour in 1/2 cup water. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer until liquid is absorbed and cabbage is still slightly crunchy.
