Guest guest
Freezing Garlic Freeze the bulbs whole (especially the smaller ones) and take one out and use it as needed and that they were great for cooking. Although you have to use the whole bulb immediately as it would rapidly deteriorate. You can also separated cloves in freezer bags, They work great in soups, stews, pesto, salsa and pasta sauces. Guest guest
I have been freezing garlic for years. Just throw it in the freezer. The paper thin layers serve as natural protection. To use I just break off the number of cloves I need and wait a few minutes to defrosts or run quickly under water. Chops very easily.
