Guest guest Posted October 6, 2008 Report Share Posted October 6, 2008 Fresh 'n' Sassy Spaghetti Sauce 3 tablespoons olive oil 1 medium onion, diced 2 large garlic cloves, minced 5 cups chopped tomatoes 1/2 cup coarsely chopped fresh basil leaves 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce 16-ounce package spaghetti In 4-quart saucepan over medium heat, in hot oil, cook onion and garlic 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add chopped tomatoes, basil, salt and hot pepper sauce. Over high heat, heat to boiling. Reduce heat to low; simmer, uncovered, 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
