Guest guest
This is good brushed on anything. Tennessee Sweet Sauce 1/4 cup soy sauce 1/2 cup lemon juice 1/2 cup honey half a beer, about 6 ounces 1 1/2 cups ketchup 2 tablespoons Worcestershirem (veg version) about 2 tablespoons hot sauce 3 tablespoons brown sugar 1 1/2 tablespoons chile powder 2 teaspoons minced garlic salt to taste and lots of freshly ground black pepper Combine all liquid ingredients in a pan over low heat for 10 minutes, then stir in dry ingredients. Bring to a boil and let simmer for about 30 minutes, stirring frequently so it doesn't stick. The sauce should have some body and be of a pourable consistency, it doesn't have to be thick. What you don't use can be stored in the refrigerator.
