Guest guest Posted May 23, 2008 Report Share Posted May 23, 2008 Parsley Garlic Pitas 4 large whole wheat pitas 4 tsps. olive oil 6 garlic cloves, minced 1 tsp. black pepper 1/2 cup finely chopped parsley Cut each pita in half and gently separate. Heat oil in medium skillet and saute garlic and pepper until garlic is golden. Stir in parsley and cook for 1 to 2 minutes longer. Drizzle garlic and olive oil mixture on pita halves and bake at 350 degrees for 5 to 7 minutes, or until pitas are warmed through. Serve hot with soups and salads, or as an appetizer for any meal.
