Guest guest
Spicy Steamed Broccoli 2 large clumps of broccoli chopped into bite sized pieces 2 tablespoons soy sauce 2 tablespoons hot sesame oil 2 tablespoons lemon juice 1/2 teaspoon sesame seeds Steam the broccoli in a vegetable steamer for 2 to 3 minutes. For the neophyte, this is not the same as broiling. (If you do not have a steamer, use the Skef Wholey method, put 1/2 a cup of water in the deep pan. Cover the top with aluminum foil, leaving a lot of slack so that the foil form a bowl under the rim of the pan. Poke holes in the foil with a fork, carefully. Put the broccoli on the foil and cover). Put the broccoli in a dish and mix well with all the other ingredients. Serve. Makes 4 servings.
