Guest guest Posted March 27, 2008 Report Share Posted March 27, 2008 Creole Sauce " Torrido " 1 16 oz. can tomatoes,8 crushed 3 hot chile peppers, finely chopped 1 cup onion, minced 1/3 cup white vinegar 1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce 1 pinch sugar salt to taste Combine all ingredients in saucepan, bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 30 minutes; stirring often to prevent sticking. Refrigerate. Serve with meat loaf, ham, sausage, eggs, hot dogs and sandwiches. Serves 6.
