Guest guest Posted October 22, 2007 Report Share Posted October 22, 2007 Curried Rice Pilaf Mix 4 cups uncooked long-grain white rice 1 1/3 cups seedless raisins 1 1/3 cups chopped dried apples 1 1/3 tablespoons instant minced onion 1/4 cup bouillon granules 4 teaspoons curry powder Combine all ingredients in large bowl; mix well. Place 2 cups rice mix in each of 4 airtight containers or zip-top plastic bags. Rice Preparation Instructions: 1. Combine 1 container rice mix, 1 3/4 cups water, and 1 tablespoon butter or margarine (optional) in 2 to 3 quart saucepan. Bring to a boil; stir once or twice. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 15 minutes, or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed. Fluff with fork. Yields 4 mixes, 6 servings each.
