Guest guest Posted October 17, 2007 Report Share Posted October 17, 2007 Chili Cheese Tomatoes 4 medium tomatoes, firm 1 cup sour cream 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 tsp. sugar 1 tbsp. flour 4 tbsps. finely sliced green onions, with tops 4 tbsps. chopped green chilies 1 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese 1/2 cup grated Monterey Jack cheese Cut tomatoes in halves crosswise and hollow out. Combine all other ingredients, except grated cheeses. Mix the grated cheese together and set aside. Spoon sour cream mixture evenly into the tomato cavities. Place in broiler pan and broil about 4 inches from the heat until bubbly, 3 to 5 minutes. Sprinkle the cheeses over the tops and return to broiler until the cheese is melted and golden, 2 to 3 minutes. Serves 8. Tired of spam?
