Guest guest Posted September 16, 2007 Report Share Posted September 16, 2007 Mushroom Relish 1/2 cup water 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar 1 1/2 teaspoons sugar 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon prepared horseradish 1/2 bay leaf 1/2 clove garlic, minced 1/2 pound fresh mushrooms, cleaned and sliced 1/2 cup thinly-sliced red onion rings, separated snipped parsley lettuce leaves In small saucepan combine first 7 ingredients. Simmer, uncovered 5 minutes. Stir occasionally. Place Mushrooms and onions in shallow glass dish. Add liquid. Cover tightly. Refrigerate 2 hours. Stir 2 to 3 times. Drain and serve in lettuce-lined bowl. Garnish with snipped parsley. Makes about 2 cups ______________________________\ ____ Luggage? GPS? Comic books?
