Guest guest
This is something that I know I will need to pay closer attention to as I make changes in my diet. What are some sites or books that give accurate descriptions of the nutritional values of different foods, and the loss of nutrients in different methods of food preparation and cooking? Guest guest
Try these two: http://www.mealsmatter.org/index.aspx http://www.caloriesperhour.com/index.html Calories Per Hour will calculate how many calories, fat grams etc. are in your foods and they have a pretty extensive list. They also have a place for you to enter activity and deduct from the calories you've taken in. Meals Matter has some pretty good information, and you can adapt it to a vegetarian lifestyle. I can't remember if they had a calorie counter but they do have a personal page and stuff. _____ On Behalf Of ap_to_be Monday, September 10, 2007 11:03 AM Nutritional value of foods This is something that I know I will need to pay closer attention to as I make changes in my diet.
