Guest guest Posted August 16, 2007 Report Share Posted August 16, 2007 Peppery Peanut Hummus 1 15 1/2 ounce can chickpeas, undrained 1/4 cup olive oil 3 tablespoons creamy peanut butter 2 tablespoons lemon juice 2 cloves garlic 1 tablespoon hot sauce 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin 1 small green onion, sliced Pita bread triangles or tortilla chips Drain chickpeas, reserve liquid. Place chickpeas, 1/4 cup reserved chickpea liquid, olive oil, peanut butter, lemon juice, garlic, hot sauce and cumin in food processor. Process 1 minute or until almost smooth; transfer to small bowl. Garnish with green onion slices. Serve with pita bread triangles. Yields 1 1/2 cups. Be smarter than spam.
