Just joined your group last night-thanks Star! I read about it on another list

and when I saw spicy and veg I was in! I grow a huge diverse garden including

many ethnic veggies, herbs and chiles here in the SF Bay Area. It is just

about time to start planting. I have a large and active garden list w/a free

seed bank - listed at the bottom.

I have been harvesting from the Winter garden a rainbow of colours:

Purple Brussels Sprouts, cabbage, Japanese Rubine Mustard, snow peas, and

broccoli

Green snow peas, sugar snap peas, corn salad, arugula,

Yellow Indian snow peas

Orange cauliflower

white walla walla onions and son the hard neck garlic

Red Stockton red onions

I have just started Core WW, I was on WW Flex for 6 months lost 30#, then took

6 months off to take care of mom after her hip replacement and was cooking stuff

to fatten her up. She got down to 85# and she is now 102#! So I am back on WW.

BTW while off I didn't gain!!!!!! I have another 20-30# to goal. Veggies and

spice are my main foods plus healthy grans, some fish, chicken, etc. I am not

veg but love them most.

I gained 50# after a back injury which caused me to give up a marvelous career

of spending millions of $$$ of someone else's money, stay in 5star hotels, eat

and drink the best and be paid very well to do this. I was VP of Product

Development and Sourcing for a large Mail Order Catalog Group.

I am a serious cook and have been since the age of 11. I have traveled to 70

countries and to some more than 30 X each (China, India, and Thailand). This

travel has given me an opportunity to learn of cultures via their cuisines. I

often say I cook my way around the world thus the name of my foodie list of TNT

recipes and food talk.

I will gladly try and answer gardening queries and of course recipe

requests-mainly TNT.

Glad to be here amongst other foodies who love veggies as much as I do!
