Guest guest Posted April 14, 2007 Report Share Posted April 14, 2007 Spicy Tomato Lentils 2 1/2 cups lentils 3 cups water 2 cups vegetable broth 2 tablespoons minced onion 1/2 cup ketchup 1 tablespoon vinegar 1 teaspoon dry mustard 16 ounce can tomato sauce 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce 1/2 cup molasses 2 tablespoons brown sugar 1 teaspoon minced garlic Preheat oven at 350 degrees. Rinse lentils. In large nonstick skillet over high heat, combine broth, water and lentils. Bring to boil and boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 30 minutes, stir occasionally. Add remaining ingredients; stir to mix. Remove from heat and place in large nonstick baking dish. Bake for 45 minutes. Serve hot.
