Guest guest Posted March 16, 2007 Report Share Posted March 16, 2007 Beet Curry 3 tbsps. ghee 1 pinch cumin seeds 1 bay leaf 2 1/2 tbsps. spiced onion 1/4 tsp. cayenne 1/4 tsp. garam masala 1 medium potato, diced 1/2 cup green peas 15 ozs. beets, cooked, diced 1/2 tsp. salt Heat ghee and fry cumin seeds, bay leaf, spiced onion, cayeene and garam masala for 1 minute. Add potato, peas and beets, cook gently for 2 minutes. Add salt and a little water. Cook gently until the potato is tender. Serve over rice. Serves 4. ______________________________\ ____ Expecting?
