Guest guest Posted March 2, 2007 Report Share Posted March 2, 2007 Spicy Lemon Carrots 1 lb. carrots, cooked, peeled and sliced 1 cup water 1/4 tsp. whole cloves 2 tbsps. unsalted butter 1 tbsp. honey 1/2 lemons, juiced and peel grated Place carrots and cloves in a steamer basket over boiling water. Cover pan and steam 10 minutes or until tender. Drain and return to saucepan. Add remaining ingredients. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until heated through. Serves 4.
