Guest guest Posted February 28, 2007 Report Share Posted February 28, 2007 Tofu Hummus 1 15 oz. can chickpeas/garbanzo beans 8 ozs. tofu 1 tablespoon tahini 1 tablespoon lemon juice 2 tablespoon olive oil 2 teaspoons garlic, minced 1/4 teaspoon cumin 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper In a food processor, blend tofu, tahini, beans and olive oil. Add remaining ingredients and blend into a creamy, smooth dip. Serve tofu hummus with fresh veggies or pita bread. Tofu hummus also makes excellent dip for falafel or as a spread for sandwiches. Store hummus in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Be smarter than spam.
