Guest guest Posted January 29, 2007 Report Share Posted January 29, 2007 Tasty Thai Throw 1/2 cup or so peanut or olive oil 1 Tbsp. sesame oil 1 1 " x2 " piece of ginger, minced 2 onions, sliced in crescents 10 cloves garlic, minced 1 tsp. turmeric 2 tsp. Thai yellow curry paste, Suree brand 2 broccoli spears, sliced 4 carrots, sliced 6 stalks celery, sliced 3-4 cups mung bean sprouts 1 green pepper sliced in thin strips 1 can baby corn 1 can bamboo shoots 1 cup dried shittake mushrooms soaked in 2 cups water 20 oz. can coconut milk zest from one lemon 1/2 cup sesame seeds Heat electric burner to " 9 o'clock " and put sesame seeds in small cast iron pan. Stir every few minutes. Cut all veggies first. Heat oil to medium high and add veggies (except garlic) and spices. Veggies should sizzle when they enter wok. Stir fry for a few minutes and add canned veggies, muchrooms with water, coconut milk, zest and garlic.Cook a little longer. Serve with Basmati rice and put a Tbsp. of Garlic Cilantro oil on top.
