Guest guest Posted January 13, 2007 Report Share Posted January 13, 2007 Garlic Tomato Thick Sauce For Veggies 1 head garlic, about 11 to 15 cloves, peeled olive oil 6 plumb tomatoes, peeled cored, seeded, cut up, up to 10 1 medium onion, peeled, left whole 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon basil In a baking dish with a lid, place the onion in the middle. Surround it with the garlic, tomatoes. Sprinkle on the salt and basil. Drizzle all with the olive oil. Make sure you coat the onion well. Cover and bake at 375 degrees for about 1 hour. Checking once to make sure it is not sticking, or burning. When it is done, place all in a blender and puree for a few minutes or until thick.
