Guest guest Posted January 10, 2007 Report Share Posted January 10, 2007 Red-Spiced White Bean Spread 6 sun-dried tomato halves 1 clove garlic, chopped 1 1/2 cups cooked white beans, drained, canned okay 1 tablespoon paprika 1 teaspoon sage 1 tablespoon olive oil salt and cayenne pepper to taste Put the dried tomato halves in a small bowl, cover with hot water, and let sit for about 15 minutes. Drain and chop coarsely. In a food processor, combine tomatoes, garlic, beans, paprika, sage, oil, salt, and cayenne pepper. Process until smooth. Makes about 1 3/4 cup.
