Guest guest Posted December 12, 2006 Report Share Posted December 12, 2006 Indian-Style Tomato Curry 1 tablespoon vegetable oil 1 large onion, finely chopped 5 medium-size tomatoes, cut into small pieces 1 teaspoon chili powder 1 teaspoon salt Heat oil in a medium skillet at a level between medium and high flame for 2 minutes. Add onions and stir for about two minutes until they acquire a light brown hue. Add tomatoes, chili powder and salt. Cook for about 15 minutes until all ingredients blend well, stirring occasionally. Use the same heat level throughout the process. Makes 4 large servings.
