Guest guest Posted November 29, 2006 Report Share Posted November 29, 2006 Sesame Cheese Wafers 1 cup margarine, soft 8 ounces shredded sharp cheddar cheese, room temperature 1 3/4 to 3 cups flour 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 to 2 tsp ground red pepper 2 teaspoons sesame or caraway seeds 1 cup very finely chopped nuts Combine margarine and cheese, stir in remaining ingredients until a soft dough is formed, less for drop dough or more for a stiffer dough for logs. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto a cookie sheet or roll into 3 logs and chill until firm. Slice and bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes or until lightly browned. Makes 6 dozen.
