Guest guest Posted October 5, 2006 Report Share Posted October 5, 2006 Garlic-Coriander Sauce 1/4 small fresh hot pepper, crushed or 1/4 teaspoon dried red pepper flakes 1 clove garlic 1 scallion, green part only 4 sprigs fresh coriander, stems only 1/2 teaspoon minced fresh ginger root 1 pinch granulated sugar 1/2 cup vegetable oil 1 teaspoon sesame oil Stem and seed the hot red pepper. Mince the garlic, scallion, and coriander stems. Put all sauce ingredients except the oils in a bowl. In a saucepan, heat the vegetable oil to 400 degrees and add to ingredients in bowl. Stir in the sesame oil; cool to room temperature.
