Guest guest Posted October 4, 2006 Report Share Posted October 4, 2006 Spicy Beans and Fried Onions 2 cups chopped onions 1 teaspoon vegetable oil, and some vegetable broth 2 cloves minced garlic 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger 3 16 oz. cans red kidney beans, drained Fry onions in oil. Add garlic and seasonings. Stir in beans and mix thoroughly. Heat well before serving. Makes 8 servings.
