Guest guest Posted September 22, 2006 Report Share Posted September 22, 2006 La Cocina Chiloquilas 1 chopped onion 2 tablespoons of oil 1 28-ounce of canned tomatoes 1 pk. taco seasoning mix 1/2 teasp. salt 1 small can diced chiles, mild or jalapeno 7 ounces tortilla chips, broke up alittle 2 cups grated jack cheese 1 cup sour cream 1/2 cup cheddar cheese Cook onions in oil, add tomatoes, taco packet, salt and chiles. Simmer for 15 minutes. Grease a 2 quart baking dish and add 1/2 chips, 1/2 sauce and 1/2 jack cheese. Repeat the layers. Top with sour cream. Bake for 30 minutes on 325. Add cheddar cheese and bake for 10 more minutes. Let stand for 15 minutes and serve up. This tastes really good with a cold beer. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
