Guest guest
I kind of made this one up from a few different chili recipes I use. Jeff's Chili 2 tablsponns of olive oil 1 large onion, chopped 2 garlic cloves smashed 2 cups tomato juice 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon sugar 1/4 teaspoon red pepper crushed flakes 1/8 teaspoon paprika 3/4 tablspoon chili powder 1 (16 ounce) can kidney beans, drained 1 1/2 cups crumbles or reconstituted TVP granuales Brown the onion and garlic in olive oil. Add all the other ingredients except for the Crumbles and kidney beans and simmer on low for one hour with the pan covered. Add a little water if needed, add kidney beans and Crumbles and simmer for an extra 10 minutes.
