Guest guest
Does anyone want to share a recipe for their favorite vegetable broth? I usually use the canned type and the bouillon cubes have so much salt in them and most have MSG. This year I want to make a large quantity since I will make soup, put some in my dressing, and I will also freeze some for later use. Thanking you in advance, Lawanna FareChase - Search multiple travel sites in one click.
Guest guest
her is what I use nowadays. I used to make the broth from all fresh veggies but I don't have the time anymore. I fill up a big pot of water, and I add two tablespoons of better than bullion, 3 potatoes, 2 if they are really big, and about 4 carrots, one onion cut in big chunks, and 3-4 heads of garlic, peeled and smashed a bit. I don't peel the veggies, just scrub em' really well. simmer for 2 hours and strain. ta die for I tell ya. - lawanna Monday, November 21, 2005 9:50 AM homemade vegetable broth recipe request Does anyone want to share a recipe for their favorite vegetable broth?
