Guest guest
I just recently joined this group. I live in Central California, 12 miles from the ocean and live on 12 acres just 3 miles from town. (Fairly small town) Two of my sons live in houses on our property. One son is single father of a 7 year old daughter. Lucky, Lucky me. We have several fruit trees and orange and tangarine trees, 3 avacado trees and a walnut tree. We used to have a huge garden when my 4 children were home, but now is easier to just buy stuff at the farmers market. We also had chickens, beef and pigs, but now I don't eat meat and my husband eats small portions of it. I have stage 4 lung cancer and down to 90 pounds so don't have a lot of energy for gardening. I take the granddaughter to and from school and to acrobatic and swim lessons and other activities as well as help one day at her school. I am not doing any chemo or radiation as it dimminishes the body's ability to heal itself. I am taking many antioxidents and a vegetarian diet, No sugar or dairy products and try to eat as much raw food as possible for the enzymes. So far was diagnosed in Feb and cancer has not grown. I have a strong faith in God that He will heal me. Life is good. I am enjoying this e-group very much. I am such a fussy eater and always on the lookout for something that will fit into my " diet " . I have between 200 and 250 cookbooks so one would think that I had lots of choices!!! Patricia in CA
