They are harden than a turnip and taste great mashed with potatoes. Maybe lie a

turnip but not quite, they take a little longer to cook than a turnip or potato.

I have a root soup recipe in the file. You might like to try that and toss

one in.

It's funny, the other names rutabagas go by is swedes, they are a big part of

the Scandinavian diet.
