Guest guest
Basically, I'm a lurker who came over from Pat's veggie spice list - where I like to lurk too. ;-) I'm an East Coast person, well if you consider Buffalo, NY the east coast. I didn't realize that a slump was an east coast term, learn something new all the time. I've heard of slumps and I make them once in a while. From Fresh from the Vegetarian Slow Cooker Grunt: A stewed fruit dessert with a biscuit topping also known as SLUMP and in case anyone wanted to know.... Cobbler: A baked fruit dessert made in a deep baking dish topped with a thick biscuit crust. Crisp: A baked fruit dessert with a crumbly pastry mixture topping made in a pie plat or other shallow baking dish. Crumble: A baked fruit dessert topped with a crumbly pastry mix. Thanks to everyone who posts such yummy recipes.
