Guest guest Posted November 17, 2005 Report Share Posted November 17, 2005 Marinara Sauce 2 (14 1/2) ounce cans stewed tomatoes, crushed 1 (6 oz) can tomato paste or a little less is fine 1 tsp. dried basil 3 tsps. dried parsley 2 garlic cloves, minced 1 tsp. dried oregano 1 tsp. salt dash of black pepper 1/2 cup finely chopped onions 1/2 cup dry red or white wine Optional (dash of sugar) In a large large sauce pan saute the onion and garlic in a small amount of olive oil over medium heat until firm tender. Add balance of ingredients and bring to a boil, cover and simmer on very low for 25 minutes. Make sure to stir often. " The reason we're succesful, darling? My overall charisma, of course.
