Guest guest
---Linda, I thought since we had one not far from us in rural Iowa some bigger areas would have them. yes, there is a such thing as a SuperTarget, similar to super Walmart but a bit more upscale : ). we really like it when we can get there. they also have a Starbucks in it. they carry all kinds of regular groceries and more organic, healthy stuff than Walmart. they also carry more of the meal alternatives for vegetarians that you would find in the healthfood store near us. so overall, we can shop in 4-5 places within 45 miles of us and get a decent amount of stuff--some things don't really exist here but learning how to make an alternative here at home helps : ). take care : )........ It's a much more pleasant shopping experience than that of Walmart, for me anyway. Our Super Target has a nice selection of organic fruits and veggies at decent prices as well as lots of " natural " and vegetarian substitute products. Ours also has a Starbucks, bakery, deli, pharmacy, etc. I like to shop at Whole Foods too - but it's an hour drive to Baton Rouge, so since Target is a bit closer to us we go there more often. There aren't many organic farmers in Louisiana so its hard to find things and farmer's markets in this area. Cara
