Oh dear, now I'm sorry that I asked what the word

meant. I wasn't trying to be awkward - I just

wasn't familiar with the expression - and I'm

glad (for myself) that I asked - and sorry that

asking has been such a cause of misunderstanding

:=( Yes, I caught the tongue-in-cheek tone, PT,

but still couldn't quite get the reference, you

know?

 

I hope asking hasn't caused any hurt to anyone

here. I *had* thought, after Anne's explanation,.

to write PT offlist to say 'no hassle - I got

it!' but then thought that'd make more of it than

I intended or than she had meant in the first

place. It's no biggie.

 

Nope, I hadn't thought of myself that way - but

hey, it's interesting to see how others think

about spreadin' the word on vegetarianism. I'm

grateful to this group for making it so easy to

ask about what I don't know - and again, sorry if

my asking seemed either aggressive, bitchy,

stoopid, pointed, rude, insensitive (fill in the

blank) or all of the above.
