Guest guest
Anne, i just read your post that you found some silk brand soynog at wallyworld. Dang, guess i am gonna have to bite the bullet and go get some from there. So far i have not seen it in any of my healthfoodish type stores and this year i am making sure i get some before it sells out. i am sorry to Anne and to Pat if my tongue in cheek usage of the word witnessin' caused undue confusion or upset. Was NOT my intention. Now Donna and i laughed about this offlist that witnessing in her neck of the woods is what the cops make you do when you see a crime. *lol* i guess in some areas of the world witnessing means the same as being pushy and preaching about religion, but that is NOT what i meant, k? Not in regard to vegetarianism, and certainly NOT in regard to religion. i am not pushy, preachy, or any-such-thing about vegetarianism, and i wasn't trying to imply Pat was either. i just meant that sometimes when people we meet see our health, happiness, and what is in our grocery carts, they witness [see for themselves] a difference, and then they come up and ask us. When people do that [approach me] i am quick as a bunny to share, answer questions, etc. i do not bring it up or preach about how i am better or they should be this or that. i ain't a veggie preacher, but i believe my lifestyle does make a good " witness " to the world of the benefits of a vegetarian diet. Hope this is more clear. Big smiles to you both. Gary, that was too cool that you got to see the Dalai Lama! i have been able to see his interviews on LINK TV before and they are always full of wisdom and leave me with a warm feeling. ~ pt ~ I'm sometimes asked " Why do you spend so much of your time and money talking about kindness to animals when there is so much cruelty to men? " I answer: " I am working at the roots. " ~ George T. Angell, reformer (1823-1909)
