Guest guest
Hi, PT the word witnessin here in L.A. would more than likely mean a witness to a crime. I never even associated it with religion I can't wait to see how you prepare your hominy. Now if you get the white or yellow it tastes the same so no fear there. Now that is very sad news about the turkeys. I had no idea (:-( Thanksgiving is almost upon us. I've been posting recipes and have more to come. Yes, it is generally seen in the religious context, but i was just being silly-fun and using it in the context of making vegetarian converts. i guess my mind just " went there " when i saw the word " convert " used here so many times the past few weeks. i am not religious about religion, that's for darn sure! *lol* Happily Heathen. i do like the idea of helping open people's minds to a better way of eating by sharing our good vegetarian lifestyle benefits [when they ask me] and mostly our recipes. Okay, i am cool with the creepy sounds of that lye use in the production of hominy now. i am determined to try some of those white hunks in a can. Thank you to all for the useful info about the nutrients and preparation ideas. i shall report back as soon as i try it.
