Guest guest
1.) PT I eat the cranberry stems, I eat the whole apple but the stem, I eat the seeds and core. LOL 2.) I agree, isn't that a cool sound? I say that Uzbekistan Stew is mighty fine. It really is. 3.) Hominy I love. You will also. I rinse and drain it, saute with a crushed garlic clove, chopped onon and seasoning. I usually toss some tequila, red pepper flakes, little salt and chopped cilantro. I love to toss it in steamed corn tortillas and enjoy, I put it in enchiladas with my Tijuana Taco Meat recipe. I have never oput it in chili before and will now. I also sute it with cactus, onions, tomatoes and eggs. Makes a good breakfast burrito. [Chanda, i know you do! *lol] i was just wondering because if they are tough like raspberry seeds or bitter like concord grape seeds then i will have to figure out a good way to rid of them but keep the skins. i like the skins. Uzbekistan Stew~ Yum, Donna! Thank you. i love to just say the word " Uzbekistan " . *lol* Great way to use up my Bob's Red Mill TVP, too. Bet this could be cooked up in my crockpot. Don't laugh, but i don't know what hominy is. i have seen can of the stuff in stores and been tempted to try it, but what the heck is that white stuff and how do people usually eat it? i'm a yankee and we didn't ever get that served up in our house. Okay, go ahead and laugh 'cause i am. *lol* ~ pt ~ " Marilyn Monroe delevoped her signature walk, by hacking off the heel of one shoe.
